Studio Zanetti

f.a.q. | about the wedding day

What if my wedding day plans change?
We understand that the unexpected happens sometimes. That's why we will provide you with a password-protected online client access area so you may update your wedding day details at any time, as well as keep a track of your payments and balance due.

When does coverage start?
Our photographer will arrive at your ceremony location 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

What will you take pictures of?
All the important, formal moments of your wedding will be documented...along with the unexpected, spontaneous things that are bound to happen and that make your day unique and memorable.

Will our guests be distracted by your presence?
You can count on your Studio Zanetti photographer to be respectful, courteous, and discrete, working quietly with other professionals 'behind the scenes' to be as unobtrusive as possible.

How many photos will you take?
The answer to this question varies depending on whether we are shooting pre-wedding activities, the ceremony, and/or the reception. To give you an idea, however, we will take a minimum of 900 photos or so during an 8-hour shoot..

What is your policy on taking breaks?
Photographers are human and do need to take the occasional break. However, our photographers will never put their needs before yours and will try to take breaks while your guests are dining.

If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Providing a meal for your photographer is definitely appreciated.

Is your media preference film or digital?
Studio Zanetti works with digital media, the 'gold standard' in 21st Century wedding photography.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Two or three digital SLRS, plenty of digital media, flashguns and everything we need to create beautifully composed, well-lit images.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes! One thing we've learned covering weddings for more than decade is to always expect the unexpected.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations indoors and out... and perhaps even by candlelight?
Yes to all of the above! And, since Studio Zanetti, is a professional, full-service studio, we can also correct lighting in post-prodution to ensure a high-quality image.

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes. Many venues require it and it protects everyone involved.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Copyright is yours once you have paid for your pictures.

Do you reserve the right to publish our photos or enter competitions?
Yes, but only with express permission from you.
